Banjo samples + clarinet + beats
Sampled tenor saxophone sounds make up almost all of the beats, and sampled
bassoon makes up all synth sounds.

Glitch_v2
GlitchyImprov
I used a balanced, eighth-inch audio cable and my mixer to record sounds the cable made when plugging, unplugging, and scraping it. I've come up with two pieces using only sounds derived from these samples. Glitch_v2 is a recent 12-minute dance version using Ableton Live, and GlitchyImprov is the original version, using Logic. Both are unedited, improvised works.

Time Bandit (4')
This piece takes samples from three of my favorite Louis Andriessen compositions (De Tijd, Hout, Hoketus) and overlays
melodies from John Coltrane's Naima and electronic beats from myself. I play tenor sax--mostly improvised--on this
recording.
Mashup (4')
I created this mashup for a graduate course at Duke University and have no intent to use it for any commercial purposes.
While learning about intellectual property, I had some fun with clips from Creedence, the Doobie Brothers, U2, Wu-Tang, and John Philip Sousa.
